Background :

Did you know that there are forty hadith about the severity of the prohibition Interest/Riba/Usury.

Project Smile has been in consultation with scholars educated in Finance and Mufti's in Bangalore on this topic and we have been advised and recommended to use the Interest Money in our following projects:

1. Needs of Homeless.

2. Building of homes and Toilets in the slums

3. ‎Cleaning the slums ( Sanitization and garbage clean up)

4. ‎To Provide relief for people affecred with Natural clamities

At Project Smile Interest Money is deposited in a seperate bank account.

In this time and age, none of us are spared of interest due to nature of our savings bank account .
