Responsibilities:

1. Medical Leadership:
2. Provide medical leadership and direction for the healthcare team within the shelter.
3. Develop and implement medical protocols and policies tailored to the unique needs of homeless individuals.
4. Stay updated on best practices and evidence-based interventions related to homeless healthcare.
5. Management of MCRC.

7. Clinical Care:
8. Conduct medical assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for shelter patients..
9. Manage chronic medical conditions and acute illnesses among the homeless population.
10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, social workers, and mental health specialists, to deliver holistic care.

12. Team Management:
13. Train, and supervise medical staff, including on call doctors, nurses, and support staff.
14. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
15. Conduct regular team meetings and professional development sessions.

17. Community Collaboration:
18. Collaborate with local healthcare providers, social services, and community organisations to enhance the continuum of care for homeless individuals.
19. Participate in relevant community initiatives, Trainings and task forces addressing homelessness and healthcare.

21. Data Management:
22. Implement systems for accurate and timely medical record documentation provided by the management (eg.Frappe)
23. Register checks.
24. Collect and analyse data to measure program outcomes and identify areas for improvement.

MBBS Doctor Job Description

Required: Full time doctor (MBBS) with experience for Medical Care & Recovery Center (MCRC)

Key Skills:

Supervise Medical Assistants to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.

Evaluate effectiveness of current care methods and procedures and suggest improvements.

Prescribe and administer medication in accordance with state and federal statutes.
