    What is Zakat ul Fitr?


    Ibn `Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: “The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) ordained Zakat ul-Fitr to purify the fasting person from indecent words or actions, and to provide food for the needy...” [Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah].


    Zakat ul Fitr must be paid before the Eid prayer.

    It is to be paid in the form of what is considered as staple foods in the community.


    Project Smile provides you an opportunity to facilitate your Zakat ul Fitr so it reaches the most needy in the society through its Eid Kit.


    👉 Please note: Zakat ul Fitr has to be given for every member of the household including kids.


    The entire Eid Kit costs ₹1000/-.
